DSP-3	Technical and Regulatory Guidance for Using Polyethylene Diffusion Bag Samplers to Monitor Volatile Organic Compounds in Groundwater (February 2004) (Note: Hard copies will be available in late March.)	A guide for regulators, technology users, and stakeholders to facilitate the use of polyethylene diffusion bag sampling, particularly for long-term monitoring.
DSP-4	Technology Overview of Passive Sampler Technologies (March 2006)	Overview of 12 passive sampling technologies and describes each technology’s basis of operation, intended applications, advantages, limitations, and development status.

The intent of the cost model is to allow the user to compare sampling costs for using PDBs, the current sampling method, and a user alternative.  The instructions give a thorough explanation of how to use the cost model, while the example illustrates the utility and flexibility of the cost model spreadsheet.  The files are small and can be downloaded quickly.
